The full-flex gear couplings manufactured by MAINA S.p.A. are employed to mechanically connect two rotating shaft which have to transmit a torque, in a torsionally rigid way. The torque is transmitted from hub to sleeve and viceversa, by the working gear teeth and between the connecting flanges of the two hubs by calibrated bolts. The gear couplings are flexible to compensate the misalignment of the shafts to be connected, this is possible by engaging outer spherical teeth with inner cylindrical ones, both having proper tangential clearance. The standard gear coupling are manufactured in AISI 1045, and upon request, is possible to have also nitroxidation treatment. GL disc couplings the multilamelar type are helpful to solve technical problems in mechanical power transmission with high power-intensive that cannot or must not be lubricated. The new disc couplings multilamelar MAINA, type GL, torsionally stiff couplings are made without radial clearing or tangential, but radially, axially and angularly flexible; for these reasons they are suitable for the realization of power transmissions with high intensity (speed and torque) working in high misalignment conditions (angular, parallel and axial) without the needs of maintenance. Can be supplied in compliance with API, and ATEX certified.

FEMAFLEX couplings are flexible couplings couplings with insert in polyurethane axially split to be replaceable without requiring the disassembly of the hubs. The couplings are also available with conics fitting bushings and spacer. Maximum transmittable power is of 40.000 Nm in continuous with allowing shafts with a maximum diameter of 210mm.

The gear couplings series GO-A are complete with tubular spacer manufactured in the same material of the gear coupling and are employed to transmit a torque when there is distance between the two shafts; are available with Ls from 107mm. up to Ls > 2500mm. Is also possible to perform dynamic balancing, for rotations above 400 rpm. We always suggest dynamic balancing also on tubular spacers having length above 600mm.
